Greenville, SC (October 25, 2018) – Two people lost their lives in a fatal tractor-trailer accident. The accident happened today, October 25, around 7 a.m. on Augusta Road.

The accident took place between a sedan and a tractor-trailer. The accident happened when a 1999 sedan suddenly crossed the center line on the highway and was struck by an oncoming tractor-trailer. The sedan only crossed the line because a wheel fell off of the vehicle.

The driver and a passenger inside the sedan were killed instantly. One of the victims was ejected from the vehicle, while another was entrapped.

The driver was identified as 33-year-old Jason Moss while the passenger was identified as 27-year-old Quentira Simpson. The 44-year-old truck driver was also injured and taken to the hospital.

The crash is still being investigated.
