Griffin, GA (October 26, 2018) – Griffin Police responded to a serious three-vehicle collision that happened on Thursday afternoon, October 25 around 3:15 p.m. Injuries were reported.
The accident took place in the eastbound lanes of Memorial Drive when a pickup truck and two passenger vehicles were involved in an accident with one another. Police are taking a closer look at what initially caused the accident. Traffic was so severe in the area that it was backed up to the 4th Street intersection at one point.
Two individuals were reportedly transported to the hospital with a variety of injuries, though their names have not yet been released. Police do not know their conditions at this time but they continue to investigate the accident.
