Gwinnett County, GA (December 19, 2018) – In Gwinnett County, a car accident took place on Interstate 85 in the southbound lanes of the highway that led to injuries. Police issued a temporary red alert.
Police responded to the area of Steve Reynolds Boulevard at exit 103 to find that at least two vehicles had collided with one another, one of which was an SUV with many damages. Multiple police cruisers could be seen there and an ambulance came to help with those who received injuries in the accident.
Multiple lanes of the highway were blocked for quite some time and delays were apparent in the area for several hours.
Police are trying to determine what caused the vehicles to collide as they investigate.
