Harnett County, NC (December 18, 2018) – The Highway Patrol responded to a deadly motorcycle accident that happened on Shady.

Harnett County, NC (December 18, 2018) – The Highway Patrol responded to a deadly motorcycle accident that happened on Shady Grove Road tonight, December 18.

Police responded to the area around Spring Lake to find that a pickup truck collided with a motorcycle. The motorcycle went off the side of the road, which caused the motorcyclist to tragically lose their life at the scene.

The pickup truck immediately caught on fire following the collision. Four people in the truck were taken to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, the victim’s identity has not yet been released. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
