Haw River, NC – One Person Injured in Serious Hit-and-Run Accident

Haw River, NC (December 1, 2018) – A man who was identified as Brandon Yancey received serious injuries following a hit-and-run accident near Haw River in Alamance County.

The accident took place around 7:00 a.m. on Trollingwood Road. Yancey had been walking on the shoulder of the road when a vehicle drove past, striking him with its mirror. Yancey was quickly taken to the Alamance Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

At this time, the Highway Patrol is investigating the accident and has discovered that the mirror likely belongs to a white Toyota Solara. They are still looking into the circumstances of this accident.
