Hawkinsville, GA (December 11, 2018) – In Hawkinsville, a two-car accident took place that caused the fatality of one person and sent four people to the hospital with various injuries. The accident took place on Sunday morning, according to police.
The Georgia State Patrol was called to the scene of an accident on GA-11 to find that 34-year-old Kaleena Bramblett lost her life at the scene. A 39-year-old woman, 11-year-old boy, 12-year-old boy, and a 7-year-old boy were all taken to the Taylor Regional Hospital with injuries and are expected to recover.
Bramblett allegedly failed to yield, which caused her to strike the second vehicle with all four parties inside it. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
