Heath Springs, SC (December 2, 2018) – One person was killed and two others received severe injuries in a two-car fatal car crash that took place on the Kershaw Camden Highway. The accident happened just north of Heath Springs.
The Lancaster County Police and an EMS crew arrived at the scene of the accident to find that one victim could not be pulled from their vehicle before the fire started. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that the accident happened when a 2015 Infiniti tried to illegally pass another vehicle heading north. It ran off the side of the road and struck some trees.
The driver who lost their life in this accident has not yet been identified. Police continue to investigate the accident and its circumstances at this time.
