Hertford County, NC (November 28, 2018) – On the morning of Thanksgiving, four people were walking along US-13 in Hertford County when one of them was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident. Three others were injured.
The woman who lost her life in the accident was identified as 25-year-old Danita White of Scotland Neck. She tragically passed away at the scene of the accident. There were several other vehicles parked illegally in the area and the pedestrians had been forced to walk in the road due to these vehicles, putting them in danger.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the friends and family of Danita White at this time, as we understand how traumatic and devastating it can be to lose a loved one in an accident. We also wish to extend our sympathies to those who have been injured in this pedestrian accident.
