Hickory Police are still investigating the accident at the intersection of North Center Street and 29th Street. Unfortunately, police have not released information on how the accident occurred. However, police say that the accident involved an SUV and a sedan.

The driver of the SUV was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. At this time, police continue to investigate so that they can determine what caused the accident and the conditions of those involved.
