Hope Mills, NC (December 2, 2018) – In Hope Mills, an RV accident took place involving one other vehicle that led to the loss of life of one person and injuries to another. The accident allegedly took place last night, December 1.
Police investigated near Business 95 in Hope Mills to find that the RV struck another vehicle and overturned. The other vehicle sustained damages but nobody inside was injured.
After the RV overturned, rescuers had to cut it open so that they could rescue the passengers who were trapped inside. One person was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead while there, while one other person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. They are expected to recover.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
