Horry County, SC (November 28, 2018) – In Horry County, a driver crashed their vehicle into a brick pillar in front of an elementary school in a car accident that led to injuries. The incident took place this morning, November 28, in front of the Ocean Bay Elementary School around 6:40 a.m.

A member at the school said that the vehicle was involved in an accident on the property and ran into one of the columns in front of the school. The staff member involved in the accident was alert at the time and transported to the hospital. Law enforcement was called to the scene of the accident.

At this time, it was reported that the driver is expected to recover and only a few bricks will need to be replaced on the building.
