Horry County, SC (December 17, 2018) – On Saturday night, a motorcyclist lost their life when they were involved in.

Horry County, SC (December 17, 2018) – On Saturday night, a motorcyclist lost their life when they were involved in a collision and struck a utility pole off of SC 544.

The man who was tragically pronounced deceased was identified as 51-year-old John Allen, who died after the collision. He had not been wearing a helmet at the time when his Harley Davidson was involved in an accident and ran off the right side of the road at Beaver Run Boulevard.

The motorcyclist received severe trauma due to the accident and police quickly transported him to the hospital. However, while there, he was pronounced deceased.

At this time, the South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate this accident.
