Horry County, SC (October 29, 2018) – Police responded to the scene of two accidents yesterday, October 28 that happened.

Horry County, SC (October 29, 2018) – Police responded to the scene of two accidents yesterday, October 28 that happened at the Surfside Beach intersection in Horry County.

The accidents happened in the area of the US 17 Bypass and Dick Pond Road near Target. The initial accident happened around 11:30 a.m. when a driver failed to yield the right-of-way, causing a chain-reaction crash. The accident involved five vehicles.

The second accident led to injuries. The second incident involved a police chase that ended near the local Arby’s with a crash. There were injuries reported, but police say that they believe everybody is expected to recover. At this time, police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
