Inman, SC (December 20, 2018) – Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to work with the victim of a hit-and-run accident. The victim is now recovering from her injuries.

At the time of the accident, the victim was walking along New Cut Road when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle in Inman. The vehicle did not stay at the scene and troopers were unable to gain a description of the vehicle since. However, it is believed to have damage on the right front and passenger side.

The victim has been identified as Dena Sneed. She was just recently moved out of the ICU for a shattered pelvis and a wide variety of other injuries and is working on getting her life back to normal. Sneed is expected to suffer from a limp for the rest of her life.

Police continue to investigate and attempt to identify the person responsible for this accident.
