Interstate 77, NC (December 21, 2018) – Police say that one person was killed in a fatal accident that took place on Interstate 77 last night around 7:30 p.m. near the state line of North Carolina and South Carolina.
Police responded to the area of Exit 1 in the southbound lanes to find that multiple vehicles collided with one another. Various emergency responders came to the scene of the accident to help those involved in the crash.
Police confirmed quickly that one person lost their life in the accident but no other details were released. No other injuries have been confirmed but police continue to investigate the accident.
They are not sure what led to the accident at this time.
