Jackson County, GA (November 13, 2018) – According to police and emergency responders, two people lost their lives on Interstate 85 in Jackson County this morning, November 13. Traffic was backed up for miles, making it difficult for anybody to get through in the area.
Police say that the accident happened around 10:00 in the morning. An SUV had been carrying a trailer when it was struck by another vehicle, which caused it to lose control and fly off the side of the road.
The two people who lost their lives died at the scene of the accident. They have not been identified.
Police worked for hours this morning to help clear the accident scene. They continue to investigate at this time.
