Jackson County, GA (November 28, 2018) – In Jackson County, a wrong-way driver struck another vehicle head-on, which caused both drivers to lose their lives this morning, November 28.
Police say that 32-year-old Carlos Cobb had been driving his Mustang around 2:40 a.m. on Interstate 85 in the wrong lane. He suddenly collided head-on with a Civic driven by an individual who has not yet been identified. Cobb and the other driver were both sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The family of the other driver is being notified at this time. Police are still investigating to determine why the driver was headed in the wrong direction.
