James Island, SC (November 19, 2018) – Last night, November 18, a Charleston County Deputy and a woman were involved.

James Island, SC (November 19, 2018) – Last night, November 18, a Charleston County Deputy and a woman were involved in an accident on Folly Road that led to the death of the female.

The accident took place around 10 p.m. last night. A deputy was responding to a foot pursuit when an unmarked deputy car collided with another vehicle that was being driven by a female. The deputy had been driving west in the 1000 block of Folly Road when a woman pulled out in front of him driving east. The deputy and a State Constable received serious injuries in the accident.

The woman lost her life at the scene of the accident. As of now, police continue to investigate the accident to determine exactly what happened.
