Jasper, GA (November 30, 2018) – A small plane accident took place on Wednesday that police say led to injuries in two parties. The accident took place in Pickens County. Police say that the pilot of the plane must have lost control in the landing process.

When the plane lost control, it clipped another airplane parked on the runway.  The small aircraft kept moving and then struck three different vehicles that were parked in the area. One of them ended up sustaining more damages than the other two vehicles. Thankfully, no one was inside the vehicles at the time of the crash.

The two people who were in the plane at the time of the accident were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The National Transportation Safety Board has taken over the investigation.

We hope that the two people who were on board the small plane when it crashed will fully recover from the injuries that they sustained as a result of this incident.  Our thoughts are with them both.
