Jasper, GA (December 14, 2018) – In Jasper, a two-vehicle accident took place involving two trucks around the area of Walmart at Highway 515. One person was transported with injuries.
The accident caused all lanes to be shut down for quite some time yesterday in the morning. The vehicle included a flatbed semi-truck and a Pepsi Company delivery truck. The driver of the Flatbed truck was taken to the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital for a variety of injuries. Luckily, they are expected to recover.
The Georgia State Patrol and a variety of police, fire, and EMS companies worked together to take a closer look at why the accident occurred. Right now, the accident is currently being investigated.
