Kinston, NC (December 12, 2018) – In Kinston, two people were hospitalized following a serious car crash that took place.

Kinston, NC (December 12, 2018) – In Kinston, two people were hospitalized following a serious car crash that took place around 11:40 a.m. in front of Tony’s Friendly Mart. The accident took place at the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Police responded and discovered that a silver sedan with four men inside pulled out in front of a woman in a green sedan, causing the two to collide. One of the vehicles was struck in the side.

The two were quickly taken to the Lenoir Memorial Hospital in ambulances. At this time, police are saying that the injuries are not life-threatening.

At this time, no names have been released. Police continue to investigate the accident.
