Lamar, GA (October 18, 2018) – Police say that a four-year-old boy lost his life in a tragic accident in Lamar that happened around his home just off of Highway 36 west. Though not many details have been released, we know that the accident took place on Sunday afternoon, October 14.
Police have identified the child as William French III, aged four. He was quickly rushed to the Spalding Regional Medical Center following the car accident but was sadly pronounced dead.
The driver involved was identified as the child’s father, who had custody of him at the time. He was identified as 36-year-old William French Jr.
