Lancaster County, SC (November 6, 2018) – In Lancaster County, the County Coroner’s Office confirmed that one person lost their life in a deadly intersection accident today. Police reported that other drivers that were involved in this incident were injured in the accident.

The accident took place early this evening on November 6 during the height of traffic at around 5 pm.   Police and paramedics arrived on the scene to render aid and assistance to the injured parties involved in the accident that happened at the intersection of Kershaw Camden Highway and Ramblin Road.

Police say that others were injured but they have not confirmed how many. Emergency responders came to the scene to offer assistance. Unfortunately, one person did not survive the crash and subsequently lost their lives as a result of the injuries that they sustained in the accident. The South Carolina Highway Patrol arrived at the scene a short time later and continued their investigation into tonight.

Investigators confirmed that one of the vehicles did catch fire. They will be releasing more information following their investigation.
