Laurens County, SC – One Person Dies Following Motorcycle Accident

Laurens County, SC (October 24, 2018) – Police say that one man lost his life following a fatal motorcycle accident.

Laurens County, SC (October 24, 2018) – Police say that one man lost his life following a fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 76 around the area of Ware Shouls on Sunday, October 21. The motorcyclist has since been identified as 43-year-old Michael Tollison.

Police have confirmed that the accident took place on Sunday night when Tollison had been riding his 2006 motorcycle eastbound on Highway 76 when he crashed into the side of a pickup truck that was making a left-hand turn on Dairy Road.

Police said that Tollison was taken to the hospital where it was confirmed that he received multiple blunt force trauma. He was pronounced dead from there.

The driver of the pickup and one of the passengers was also taken to the hospital due to injuries, but they are expected to recover.
