Laurens County, GA (November 29, 2018) – In Laurens County, a student lost her life in a two-car accident this week. The student has since been identified by police as 15-year-old Jessica Jasmin Andrade, a sophomore at high school.
Police say that the accident happened when Andrade’s family was headed west on Holiday Road and the driver of another vehicle didn’t stop at the stop sign in the area. This caused the two vehicles to collide.
Police say that Andrade died at the scene of the accident after being ejected from the vehicle. The other children in the vehicle also received a variety of injuries, including another teen who was seriously injured and remains in the hospital at this time.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
