Lexington County, SC – Man Involved in Fatal Accident Identified

Lexington County, SC (November 5, 2018) – In Lexington County, a man was involved in a fatal accident on Shore.

Lexington County, SC (November 5, 2018) – In Lexington County, a man was involved in a fatal accident on Shore Road. Police have since identified him as 59-year-old Luke Matthew King of Gilbert. King lost his life at the scene of the accident.

Police responded to the accident in the area of Belle Lindler Road in Gilbert. The accident took place around 1 p.m. this afternoon, November 5.

King was driving northbound at the time when his vehicle was involved in an accident and struck a tree. Nobody else was injured in the accident.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident at this time.
