Lexington County, SC – One Struck in Pedestrian Accident Tuesday

Lexington County, SC (December 19, 2018) – On the Augusta Highway near Olde Farm Road, a pedestrian accident took place.

Lexington County, SC (December 19, 2018) – On the Augusta Highway near Olde Farm Road, a pedestrian accident took place that led to the death of one person on Tuesday morning.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that the person was hit and killed around 5:15 a.m. near the Lexington High School.

Police say that the accident was thoroughly investigated and the driver who struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene so that they could speak with police. Traffic was rerouted in the area for quite some time.

Police continue to investigate the accident thoroughly at this time.
