The accident happened on Tuesday morning on Boring Pond Road. At the time, officials say that the driver of a Jeep crossed the center lane and struck the school bus. One person was taken to the South Georgia Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The bus driver was found to not be at fault for the crash and did not receive injuries. The bus driver’s child was the only child who was on the bus at the time of the accident.

Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.
