Motorcycle accidents are handled a lot like car and truck accidents in many ways. There are some unique factors involved in motorcycle operation and in motorcycle riding, however, that make the liability issues surrounding motorcycle accidents very different indeed. Riding a motorcycle is far riskier than riding in a car. They have only two wheels, are not enclosed but rather exposed to the open air, they weigh less which enables them to skid or be thrown further than a car. The bottom line is that you are far, far more likely to be seriously hurt or even killed while riding a motorcycle than you are in a car or a truck. You are less visible to cars and more prone to road hazards as well.

In many motorcycle accidents, it can be the driver of the other vehicle that was negligent and led to the crash. If you or a loved one have been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that was not your fault, you may be eligible to receive compensation for your hospital bills, lost wages, insurance fees, and other accouterment.
