Macon, GA (October 25, 2018) – On Interstate 75, a 40-year-old man lost his life in a fatal accident in Macon, Bibb County. The accident happened yesterday, October 24 around 10 p.m.
The man who lost his life has since been identified as Darrell Carson of Roberta. The accident happened near the Hartley Bridge Road on I-75 South, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
At the time, the man was killed after he struck a concrete barrier in the middle of the roadway. When sheriffs arrived at the scene, he was quickly pronounced dead.
At this time, police continue to investigate the accident. Just this year, there have been over three dozen fatalities in Bibb County on our roadways.
