Macon, GA (November 4, 2018) – A child pedestrian was injured in a serious accident on Saturday afternoon, November 3. The accident happened down on St. Charles Place, according to police who arrived at the scene. 

The 7-year-old who was injured was identified as Zmya Whitus. She was taken to a local medical center with serious injuries. Police said that, as of last night, the child was in stable condition.

The accident happened at 4077 Saint Charles Place around 4:45 p.m. The child had been at the edge of the driveway when she was struck by a vehicle headed south, according to police. The vehicle kept driving and never stopped. It was either a Honda or Nissan. 

The accident is still being investigated at this time.
