Macon, GA (November 7, 2018) – As of now, Bibb County deputies are looking into a hit-and-run accident that led to injuries in a little girl. The accident happened on Saturday, November 3 around 5 p.m. at 4077 Saint Charles Place in Macon.

At the time, police say that 7-year-old Zmya Whitus had been at the edge of her driveway when she was struck by a vehicle. The car kept on driving south when it struck her. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition and is thankfully expected to recover from her injuries.

Police say that the driver of the vehicle was driving in a gold or tan four-door sedan but they have no other information regarding the driver or the vehicle at this time. Police are continuing to investigate this accident.
