Macon, GA (November 12, 2018) – Yesterday afternoon, November 11, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported a pedestrian accident that led to a fatality. The accident reportedly took place on Ocmulgee East Boulevard.
The pedestrian has since been identified by deputies as 51-year-old John Thomas. When police discovered him, there was no vehicle at the accident scene, but the pedestrian had clearly been struck by another vehicle.
The victim was tragically pronounced deceased around 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon. At this time, police are still searching for any information on the vehicle that struck him.
The investigation into the matter continues.
