Macon, GA (November 9, 2018) – Police say that one person was injured in a car accident that took place last night, November 8, around 9 p.m. on the Interstate.
First responders were called to the scene in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near Riverside Drive. The woman involved in the accident who received injuries was identified as 24-year-old Ashley Stout from Canton.
At the time, Stout hydroplaned, which caused her to become injured in an accident. She struck a guardrail and went across all lanes of traffic.
At the same time, a four-vehicle accident took place. Stout was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. Police say that, upon further inspection, one other person received minor injuries in the wreck.
At this time, we would like to extend our sincerest thoughts and prayers to Ashley Stout and the other person who was injured in this serious accident. These types of accidents can happen in the blink of an eye and we do not want you to ever feel alone.
