Marietta, GA (December 12, 2018) – In Marietta, the driver of a pickup truck was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning on Interstate 75. The driver has not yet been identified by police.
At the time, an Infiniti and a pickup truck crashed in the southbound lanes of the highway just south of the North Marietta Parkway. The pickup truck then swerved into another lane and was struck by a tractor-trailer.
The driver of the pickup truck died at the scene of the accident. Police have also reported that one person was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries.
The southbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours while police investigated the circumstances of the accident.
