Milledgeville, GA (December 10, 2018) – A second person has passed away following an accident that we reported on in late November. In the initial story, a six-year-old child died in an accident that occurred in Milledgeville near Roberson Mill Road. Another person suffered critical injuries in the crash and has been hospitalized up until her passing on Saturday, Dec 8th.
29-year-old Brooke Shelton has passed away after spending weeks in the hospital fighting for her life after injuries that she sustained in this fatal accident. The accident occurred on November 29th at approximately 7:40 am. A 6-year-old child named Davien Allen died in that morning in the accident that involved two separate vehicles.
Shelton was driving her car at the time of the crash and Allen was a passenger in another vehicle. The driver that was operating the other vehicle is okay. Shelton was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries immediately following the crash and was in the hospital up until she succumbed to her injuries on December 8th.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
