Monroe County, GA – (October 6, 2018) A four-vehicle car wreck occurred this afternoon, Saturday, October 6 on the northbound I-75. Two people were killed in the crash
The wreck occurred after a male driver going southbound swerved into the median, hit the guardrail, and flung on to the northbound interstate, hitting three other cars.
What caused the male driver to swerve beyond his lane has not yet been determined, but serious injuries were caused amongst multiple victims involved. Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly afterward the accident took place and transported one unidentified female driver to the hospital. She, unfortunately, passed away before reaching the hospital.
Though the driver of the at-fault vehicle died on the scene, authorities have not confirmed the total number of injuries.
The names and ages of those involved have yet to be released.
