Morganton, NC (December 22, 2018) – Police say that one woman was injured following a DUI accident that took place on Thursday night where charges resulted.
30-year-old Chelsee McConnell was involved in an accident during rainy conditions on Thursday in the area of Kirksey Drive. Her vehicle rolled over and landed on its roof. McConnell was the only person who was injured in the accident. She was entrapped in her vehicle until police were able to free her.
McConnell was quickly taken to the hospital and hospitalized with a variety of injuries. Police confirmed that the accident was DUI-related and charges resulted.
At this time, police continue their investigation of the incident.
