Morganton, NC (December 21, 2018) – A woman was injured after she was involved in an accident and flipped her vehicle in a rollover accident, which trapped her inside.
The woman had been driving on Kirksey Drive when she suddenly was involved in an accident and ran off the side of the road, where her vehicle flipped over multiple times. It landed on its roof around 6:15 p.m.
Lackey said that the woman struggled to get out of the vehicle and was trapped, so first responders had to ensure her safety as she got out of the vehicle. She was then transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Her condition at this time is not yet known.
Lanes of traffic were closed down while police investigated the accident. At this time, the investigation into the matter continues.
