Myrtle Beach, SC (October 27, 2018) – Police say that one person is dead following a crash that took place.

Myrtle Beach, SC (October 27, 2018) – Police say that one person is dead following a crash that took place on SC-31 at the mile marker 12. The fatal pedestrian accident took one life.

The accident happened last night, Friday, October 26. A Horry County Sheriff’s Office SUV allegedly struck a pedestrian as it was traveling on the roadway. According to police, the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.

The pedestrian who was struck and killed has since been identified as 35-year-old Marcus Williamson. He received multiple traumatic injuries from the accident.

As of right now, multiple police officers are investigating the accident.
