Myrtle Beach, SC (December 14, 2018) – Police reported that one person was tragically killed in a two-vehicle accident that took place in the early morning hours today around 9:41 a.m.
The accident took place at Middle Gate Drive. A Toyota was exiting Briarcliffe Acres when a man from North Myrtle Beach was driving northbound in a Dodge. He drove through the traffic light at the intersection and struck the driver’s side door of the Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota was quickly taken to the hospital and died while there. At the time, both drivers were wearing seatbelts. The accident is still being investigated by police at this time.
