Myrtle Beach, SC (December 15, 2018) – A 69-year-old has passed away to her injuries following a two-vehicle crash that.

Myrtle Beach, SC (December 15, 2018) – A 69-year-old has passed away to her injuries following a two-vehicle crash that took place at the intersection of Middle Gate Road.

The woman has since been identified as Brenda Spires Epps, who sustained severe injuries around 9:41 a.m. when the accident took place. At the time, Epps had allegedly been driving a Toyota Avalon westward when her vehicle was struck on the driver’s side door by a Dodge pickup truck.

Police confirmed that the driver of the truck disregarded a traffic control device.

Epps was immediately taken to the hospital and died due to her severe injuries. The driver of the pickup truck did not receive injuries.

At this time, the South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
