Orangeburg County, SC (December 5, 2018) – Police said that on December 4, a car accident with injuries took place on Interstate 26 in Orangeburg County. Only one person was injured, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol who investigated the accident.

The accident took place around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 26 at mile marker 159. Injuries were reported, though no parties involved were immediately identified.

The crash blocked all eastbound lanes of the highway, according to an email from the highway patrol. Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time.
