Perry, GA (October 5, 2018) – A man was knocked off of his motor scooter and shot in a criminal accident that took place in Perry on Wednesday night, October 3. Police immediately responded.
Police said that the accident happened around 8:30 at night on Old Field Lane off of Swift Street. They said that a 21-year-old man was riding his moped when he was suddenly run over by a vehicle and then shot in the back. He was immediately rushed to the medical center and taken in for surgery.
At this time, he remains alive but is seriously injured. Police are attempting to contact the victim’s family alongside looking for the driver responsible for the accident.
