Pickens County, SC (October 29, 2018) – In Pickens County, one person was arrested following a hit-and-run accident. The accident happened on Saturday, October 27, around 2:27 a.m.

The accident took place on Black Snake Road near Easley. The man who struck the pedestrian was identified as 29-year-old Justin Owens. He received charges of hit-and-run and causing great bodily injury after fleeing the scene after a pedestrian accident.

At the time of the accident, Owens was driving his 2006 Toyota SUV. The victim that he struck was identified as a 33-year-old man from Easley. He was quickly transported to the Greenville Memorial Hospital with injuries.

Owens was arrested yesterday after he was identified from a flyer.
