Pickens County, SC (November 17, 2018) – On Thursday, November 15, troopers say that a driver lost their life when they were involved in a rollover crash with their pickup truck.

At the time, the 1994 pickup truck was headed west on Saluda Dam Road when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, striking the guardrail and going down an embankment. It then overturned at the bottom.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they say that the driver was dead at the scene. The Coroner’s Office has since identified the victim as Shaun William Gisltrap. He died of blunt force trauma caused by the accident.

The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
