Pickens County, SC – Teen Loses His Life After Serious Fatal Accident

Pickens County, SC (November 6, 2018) – The Pickens County Coroner says that a teenage young man passed away following.

Pickens County, SC (November 6, 2018) – The Pickens County Coroner says that a teenage young man passed away following a serious fatal accident when he was struck by a vehicle on the morning of Nov 2. The accident was deemed a pedestrian accident.

The teenager has since been identified as 17-year-old Elijah Davis of Westminster. He was hit while he was walking along Tiger Boulevard, according to police.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported the teenager to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.  Sadly, after Davis arrived at the hospital it was determined that his injuries were too severe and he was not able to survive.  He was pronounced dead in the hospital because of severe trauma on November 2. He passed away at the Greenville Memorial Hospital that morning around 7:20 a.m.

We would like to take the time to offer our sincere condolences and heartfelt thoughts to the family and friends of the young man who was lost his life in this terrible accident.
