Pitt County, NC – One Woman Loses Life in Fatal Accident

Pitt County, NC (November 18, 2018) – The North Carolina Highway Patrol investigated a fatal accident in Pitt County around.

Pitt County, NC (November 18, 2018) – The North Carolina Highway Patrol investigated a fatal accident in Pitt County around 7:28 p.m today, November 18.

At the time of the accident, the NC Highway Patrol said that one vehicle had been traveling east on and trying to turn when a driver failed to stop at the stop sign in the area, causing the two vehicles to collide with one another.

The crash caused both vehicles to spin out of control and then come to a stop. At this time, police have not confirmed if any parties were injured in the accident. The woman who lost her life was identified as 61-year-old Jennie Seffoms. She had been a passenger in one of the vehicles.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
