Putnam County, GA (December 26, 2018) – Police say that one person was critically injured in a pedestrian accident. Police are still investigating the accident at this time.

At the time, 29-year-old Malcolm Kennaugh-Easterby was struck by a Cadillac on US Highway 441 in Putnam County. The accident happened near the intersection of Pea Ridge and Twin Bridges Road.

The pedestrian was injured and flown to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 75-year-old Onaria Youngblood. Youngblood was not injured but stayed at the scene of the accident.

Witnesses said that the pedestrian ran into the path of Youngblood and they are not sure why. The pedestrian is still in critical condition in the hospital at this time.
