Raleigh, NC (October 23, 2018) – In Raleigh, eight crashes took place following a chain-reaction crash that set it all.

Raleigh, NC (October 23, 2018) – In Raleigh, eight crashes took place following a chain-reaction crash that set it all off. The accident happened on Monday morning, October 22. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the accident.

A disabled vehicle on the side of the road led to a minor crash, which started a chain-reaction of minor crashes. There were eight different crashes by the end of the accident near exit 93 on U.S. 1 northbound.

EMS responded to the scene of the accident and said that multiple people have been injured but they are all expected to recover. The incident happened around 6:50 a.m. and the road reopened around 9 a.m.

Police continue to investigate what led up to the crashes at this time.
